Kundalini Yoga with Wendy.
Kundalini yoga is a unique practice that allows you to improve your health and fitness, as well as helping you to clarify and achieve your goals. The word ‘Kundalini’ means awareness, and the potential of your hidden awareness. In addition to improving your physical strength and flexibility Yoga strengthens your nervous and glandular systems, it helps to improve mental capacity, your sense of awareness and it gives you greater energy. It is an excellent ‘stress-buster’ and each Kriya (set of exercises) will help to increase your flexibility and aerobic capacity, tone and sculpt your body and relax and quieten your mind.
Kundalini yoga classes, class format:
Warm ups – may be included
Main series / Kriya – this is a specific sequence of exercise; each one lasting 1 – 3 minutes to work on a certain component of your body and mind. A set will be between 6 and 15 exercises.
Closing / Tune out.
As a student, you should go at your own pace; a pace which suites your flexibility and endurance, modifications are always offered during each class. Attending a Kundalini yoga class every week will help to establish a firm foundation for an effective practice that fits your needs, goals and capacity.
Stretch & tone yoga sessions:
These classes are designed for clients who would like to work on core strength and flexibility in a more gentle way. Stretch & tone sessions use classic yoga moves, positions and breathing to gently improve physical strength, stamina, co-ordination and mental capacity. There are increased breaks between each movement, and most of the positions will concentrate on capturing strength and stability in the central core and keeping the spine flexible; helping to alleviate stiffness in the joints, especially in the Lumbar area of the spine.
Feel free to practice at home, if you can practice the same time each day you will find that you will improve rapidly, please speak to me after the Kundalini yoga class if you would like more information about which Kriyas / meditations would be suitable for your needs.

All sessions are 1 hour; £24.00 for 4 sessions
1:1 sessions available £25 per hour / Private sessions also available
